Beautiful Wedding at Mission Mill, Salem Oregon

From the moment I met Cara and Tim I knew they were my people. They are super fun, quirky and honest about it all! They are huge Star Wars nerds and therefore I snuck in a little surprise with their ring shots.

This wedding was nothing short of amazing at The Mission Mill in Salem, Oregon. Their families really came together and put on an incredible party and following the wedding they took their guests (anyone still willing to hang) to their favorite spot in Salem, The Coin Jam … love this couple!

When a client reaches out and asks to do family portraits with their smooshy-faced pug in the snow … the answer will ALWAYS be YESSSSS!!!!

We couldn’t have asked for a better day to be at Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood, Oregon. The sun was out and the view was impeccable. We started off playing on the backside of the lodge and then moved to the West edge of Timberline’s parking lot to a beautiful tree’d area with a view as the sun started to set.

Minimalistic Oregon Wedding

Simple Weddings Are Lovely.

Meghan & Sam contacted me just a couple months before their wedding and told me all about their small and simple wedding. Their main priority was to make sure their families were able to enjoy the event in a small gathering that included some delicious food, board games to play and stay entertained as the bride and groom made their way around to each table to greet their guests and enjoy some fabulous music. They ended the night with a glow stick send-off and it was a hit!

Sandi & Jason 1 Year Anniversary

There is no title that could truly depict how amazing tonight was or how AMAZING this couple is!

Jason is a full time firefighter in Tualatin and Sandi is an RN at Salem Hospital in the emergency room.

Jason is also a long-time member of the Oregon National Guard Aviation unit and has served on multiple overseas deployments, just recently returning on their 1 year wedding anniversary by totally surprising Sandi at work (pretending to be a patient with the help of her supervisor) which was a total hit as she wasn't expecting him to be home for another month!

A Love Story

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of heading down to the glorious little town of HEBO, OR.  Haven't heard of it?  oh, well that is because it is a tiny speck BUT it is my old stomping grounds and where I grew up.  Nestled between Tillamook and Lincoln City (I am sure you've heard of those!) it is a tiny town in a chain of tiny towns that make up the Nestucca Valley, a lovely farming community.
